About This Tour
🎄🚂 All aboard for a magical evening of Christmas nostalgia, twinkling lights and festive cheer with Bussin’ Along Tours! ✨
We're combining two wonderful Christmas experiences into one unforgettable outing – a Twilight Heritage Train Ride at Swanbank followed by a festive tour of local Christmas lights!
Our adventure begins with a comfortable bus ride from Ipswich to the historic Swanbank Station, where you'll have time to soak up the Christmas atmosphere, explore the station and even snap a photo with Santa! 🎅
Then it's ALL ABOARD! 🚂
Step back in time as we climb aboard beautifully restored timber carriages for a 75-minute journey hauled by a classic heritage diesel locomotive.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery as we travel through bushland, past historic coal mining sites, charming miners' cottages and peaceful countryside. There's something truly special about experiencing the magic of rail travel from days gone by!
Once we return to Swanbank Station, there'll be time to grab a bite to eat or enjoy some refreshments before our Christmas adventure continues.
🌟 And the magic doesn't stop when we leave the station!
As the sun sets, we'll head off on a relaxed bus tour through local neighbourhoods to discover sparkling Christmas light displays, beautifully decorated homes and plenty of festive surprises along the way.
With return bus transport, your heritage train ticket and a Christmas lights tour all included, you can leave the organising to us and simply enjoy the experience.
Whether you're bringing the kids, grandkids, friends or just love a little Christmas magic, this is a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season together!
❤️ Because Christmas isn't just about presents – it's about experiences, traditions and making memories that stay. 🎄✨
